yoga nidra
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that invites the body into deep rest while the mind gently settles.
Often described as yogic sleep, this practice supports the nervous system by creating space for stillness, restoration, and quiet awareness.
You are guided through breath, body awareness, and imagery while resting comfortably. No movement is required, and no experience is needed.
Many people come to Yoga Nidra when they feel mentally tired, overstimulated, or in need of a deeper kind of rest.
It is a practice of allowing, rather than doing.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During a session, you will be invited to lie down or sit comfortably while listening to gentle guidance.
Sessions often include:
• breath awareness
• guided relaxation through the body
• visualization or subtle awareness practices
• time for integration and rest
You are not required to focus perfectly or stay fully awake.
If you drift into sleep, it often means the body is receiving the rest it needs.
Over time, many people notice:
• improved sleep quality
• reduced stress and mental tension
• increased clarity
• a greater sense of calm
OUR APPROACH

The Essence of Earthing approach to Yoga Nidra is rooted in gentleness, permission, and deep rest.
Rather than striving or efforting, this practice invites the body to soften naturally. Each session is guided with a steady, supportive rhythm, allowing space for the nervous system to settle at its own pace.
There is nothing to achieve and nothing to perform. You are simply invited to rest and receive.
Yoga Nidra is offered with a calm, grounded presence that allows the experience to unfold in a way that feels supportive for your body and your current season.
You may experience:
a sense of heaviness or grounding in the body
mental quiet or spaciousness
subtle emotional release
the feeling of being deeply rested
Some sessions feel spacious and light, while others feel deeply restorative.
Every experience is different. Every nervous system responds in its own way.

It is common to drift toward sleep during Yoga Nidra. If this happens, it is often a sign the body is needing rest. You will be gently guided back with the sound of my voice throughout the session, and we will allow the practice to unfold in a supportive way.
